The Air Tightness Testing & Measurement Association will rebrand its sound testing scheme back to its original name of SITMA – the Sound Insulation Testing & Measurement Association to better reflect the differences between the two tests, in turn creating its own brand identity.
Across January, relevant sound testing pages will be moved from www.attma.org to www.sitma.org.uk. the two websites are almost identical in nature and moving between them will be seamless.
The Sound Testing Lodgement Portal will slowly rebrand to the SITMA name and logo across January. The Sound Testing Lodgement Portal will still be accessed using the https://sound.attma.org link until the new website is fully formed. Members of the newly formed Sound Testing scheme will be issued with ID cards for sound testing.
The SITMA scheme has grown rapidly, exceeding the expectations of the ATTMA team which has driven the change. There are currently more than 25 members with 11 pending applications and a full CCBAM training course being run on the 14th January.
