Once certified, the members certification is maintained through the bi-annual (every 24 months) repetition of the entry assessment with an Approved Training Partner. This may be coupled with mandatory training where regulations have changed or been updated.<\/p>

The certified person may attend a training course at an ATTMA Approved Training Provider for Domestic Ventilation Commissioning and then re-sit the assessment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Changes to the scheme, regulations and\/or test standards<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Where there is a change to the certification scheme which requires additional assessment (for example, a new test standard is specified), the tester shall undergo the recertification process as per the training and assessment option. The Scheme shall publicly identify those that have been recertified in accordance with any new changes on its public website.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Part 1 is for those who will be commissioning intermittent and decentralised domestic ventilation. This will be done in accordance with BSRIA BG 46\/2022<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Part 2 is for those who will be commissioning and balancing continuously running, centralised domestic ventilation. This will be done in accordance with BSRIA BG 46\/2022<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Recertification Frequency\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Certified members will be assessed every 24 months, due to the test method being very simple, predictable and repeatable. Once a certified member is confident, only regulatory changes will dictate new methods.<\/p>

If a member has failed a previous assessment, the member will be required to re-take the assessment automatically if they fail to meet the minimum standard. This is usually within a maximum of three months.<\/p>

Members may be audited after they have registered new equipment. This is because the equipment may be from a different manufacturer and therefore could lead to errors in the setup<\/p>

If there is a regulatory change, all testers would be visited as soon as possible to ensure the changes have been implemented. This is the same for any scheme requirement changes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Contact will be made with the certified person approximately three to four weeks before the current certification expiry, advising of an impending expiry and the need for recertification. The assessment will cover areas of the scheme. After the assessment, a formal communication of the result and confirmation the testers certification status will be received directly from ATTMA.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
