This means that if the test file is reopened at a later date, the previously selected building type will automatically be retained, reducing the need for re-entry and helping to maintain consistency throughout the testing process.

Support for Older Fan Serial Numbers

The update also adds support for the “S” prefix found in the serial numbers of certain older Retrotec 1000, 2000 and 3000 series fans. Users operating this equipment can now enter serial numbers with the S prefix directly within the software.

While these are relatively small changes, they help improve usability and compatibility for testers working with a range of equipment and reporting methodologies. The building type retention feature will be particularly useful for those carrying out testing in accordance with the CIBSE protocol, while the serial number update ensures continued support for older fan models still in use across the industry.

Members using FanTestic are encouraged to update to the latest version to take advantage of these enhancements.

For more information about FanTestic and Retrotec software updates, please refer to the official Retrotec support channels.

Version: FanTestic v5.17.9.65
Update Highlights: Building type retention for CIBSE protocol files and support for “S” prefixed serial numbers on older 1000, 2000 and 3000 series fans.

Retrotec has released a new update for FanTestic, version 5.17.9.65, which includes a couple of improvements that may be of

[29

post-5790","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news
"publishpress_future_workflow_manual_trigger":
["GET
