Terms & Conditions - BCTA Awards

BCTA will disqualify any entries which it feels do not comply with these terms and conditions or where any form of bad faith is suspected.

Awards Criteria

Nominations for the Innovation Award – BCTA and the Lifetime Achievement Award will be voted for by BCTA Members. These awards are open to anyone irrespective whether they are currently a BCTA Member.

All other awards are chosen via data from Lodgement or have been personally selected by the Group Director of BCTA.

Awards Entry

All entries must be made using the official submission form here. Entry opens at 9am on 10th January 2023 and the deadline for submissions for all awards is 5pm on 27th January 2023. BCTA reserves the right to extend this deadline and will publish details on its websites if this happens.

Award Panel

BCTA will contact all nominated individuals and organisations to notify them they they are under consideration. The Awards Panel will grant awards in the following way

The Workhorse Award – Airtightness – Data from Lodgement
The Workhorse Award – Sound Insulation – Data from Lodgement
High Performance Award – Data from Lodgement
Largest Building Tested – Data from Lodgement
Innovation Award – Submissions Required from Members
Special Thankyou Award – Personally selected by Group Director
Lifetime Achievement Award – Submission Required from Members

The Awards Panel reserve the right not to issue an award if, in the opinion of the panel, no entry reaches teh standard considered necessary. The decisions of the Awards Panel will be final, and no discussion or correspondence will be entered into.

Award Winners

Award winners will be announced at The BCTA AGM on Wednesday 8th February 2023. BCTA will contact shortlisted parties and invite them to the AGM. Tickets are free to all members and those invited by BCTA. Award winners and shortlisted parties agree to the publication of their name on a local and national level and to participate in any publicity to the BCTA Awards and future awards. Videography and photography will be taken during the AGM and interview may be requested with Award Winners post event.
