Job Description
Your Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include conducting auditing on sound insulation testers in accordance with BS EN ISO 140-4:1998 and BS EN ISO 140-7:1998 in-line with the SITMA Certification Scheme UKAS requirements.
You will also be required to conduct remote auditing on airtightness testers within the requirements of the ATTMA Competent Persons Scheme and complete, sign, and countersign audit reports for audits.
You will also support with, and potentially deliver, training particularly within the fields of air, acoustics and ventilation and function as an examination invigilator and/or mark examinations once complete.
About You:
You will be very experienced in the area of sound insulation testing, ideally having conducted hundreds, if not thousands of sound insulation tests across a variety of projects. You shall be ideally experienced in the area of air tightness testing, having conducted some testing (at least ATTMA L1 certified) and based in the North of England, within commutable distance of our Leeds office.
You will have a strong knowledge of ISO 140-4, ISO 140-7 and good knowledge of ISO 717-1 and ISO 717-2, good knowledge of ATTMA TSL1, ATTMA TSL2, ISO 9972 and CIBSE TM23. You shall have strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and knowledge of the construction industry, construction sites and testing with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
The role is situated in and around our Leeds office. You will be expected to work and travel from the Leeds office at least once per week. The role is demanding, but enjoyable. You will be seen as an industry professional in the field and expected to be able to support the members as well as audit and ensure the integrity of the certification scheme. Training will be provided for candidates with the right aptitude and willingness to learn, but some experience is necessary for us to consider you for interview.
