The SITMA Lodgement System is the system used by SITMA Scheme Members to lodge testing jobs, upload raw test data, and generate standardised test reports and certificates intended to support compliance with the applicable Building Regulations.<\/p>

The system is designed to promote consistency and transparency in testing and reporting practices across the scheme. In addition, data collected through the lodgement system supports the certification scheme\u2019s ability to:
\u2022 Compile industry statistics for government and industry stakeholders
\u2022 Identify and report on industry trends
\u2022 Support monitoring of compliance with testing practices
\u2022 Provide information to Building Control Bodies and Approved Inspectors, where appropriate.<\/p>

Access to the SITMA Lodgement System is provided via the SITMA Lodgement Portal, details of which are issued to members upon entry to the scheme. Use of the SITMA Lodgement System is a requirement of certification for activities falling within the defined scope of a member’s SITMA certification as set out in PUS015 – SITMA Scheme Terms & Conditions. The use of standardised outputs within the lodgement system supports consistency of structure and presentation only and does not constitute validation or endorsement by SITMA of individual test data, professional judgement, or conclusions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Rules of Lodgement<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

All SITMA Certified Testers are expected to adhere to the SITMA Scheme requirements when using the lodgement system, regardless of whether they hold any additional or alternative qualifications, accreditations, or certifications.<\/p>

The operational rules of lodgement include the following:
\u2022 Lodgement of every test, regardless of result, where the test falls within the defined scope of certification.
Note: The only exception is where testing is not carried out for Building Regulation compliance.
\u2022 All tests carried out at an early stage shall be lodged and recorded as \u201cPre\u2011Lodgement\u201d, regardless of whether the testing is described as research, preliminary, early\u2011stage, or otherwise.
\u2022 The SITMA Lodgement Report must be issued alongside any report or documentation provided by the tester.
\u2022 It is not acceptable to refer to the Lodgement Report without providing it.
\u2022 All deviations from the applicable testing standard must be recorded within the deviations section of the lodgement system.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\tNote: SITMA encourages testers to lodge jobs in advance in order to benefit from reduced lodgement fees. For clarity, \u201cin advance\u201d is defined in PUS002 \u2013 SITMA Scheme Fee Schedule as lodgement completed by 23:59 on the day before the scheduled test. This timing is not mandatory; testers may lodge on the day of the test if preferred, but the standard fee will apply. This incentive supports SITMA\u2019s audit and transparency objectives without introducing additional scheme requirements.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Where the operational rules of lodgement are not followed, this may constitute non\u2011conformity with scheme requirements and may result in action being taken in accordance with PUS014 \u2013 Suspension & Withdrawal, including restriction of access to the lodgement system or suspension of certification.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t
