The SITMA Lodgement is the system used by SITMA members to lodge testing jobs, upload raw test data, and produce building regulation compliant test reports and certificates.<\/p>

In addition to creating a more consistent testing and reporting process for its members, the data collected via the use of the lodgement system allows the certification scheme to:
\u2022 Provide industry statistics to governments and industry stakeholders
\u2022 Research many different combinations to view trends
\u2022 Ensure testing is conducted in accordance with the standards
\u2022 Support Building Control and Approved Inspectors, creating a uniform system.<\/p>

Access to the SITMA lodgement System is done via Sitma Lodgement Portal, this link is provided to all members on entry to the scheme.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Rules of Lodgement<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

All SITMA Certified Testers adhere to the SITMA Scheme rules and regulations regardless of whether they possess any additional or alternative qualifications, accreditations, or certifications. These include:<\/p>

Lodgement of every test*, regardless of result – the only mitigation being that the test is not to being carried out for Building Regulation compliance.
\u2022 All tests carried out at an early stage shall be lodged and the Lodgement Type set to \u2018Pre-Lodgement\u2019 – this shall be done regardless of whether the test is considered as research, early testing, preliminary testing or otherwise.
\u2022 Members must issue the Lodgement Report alongside any report or other documentation provided by the tester – It is not acceptable to only refer to the Lodgement Report from within the testers own report.
\u2022 Deviations must be recorded \u2013 all deviations are to be recorded within the deviations section.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t*Note: SITMA encourages its testers to lodge jobs in advance, ideally the day before the job due to be conducted. This proactive and transparent practice of advanced lodgement benefits from a reduced lodgement fee. In cases where the rules of Lodgement are not followed, SITMA reserves the right to refuse access to the SITMA Lodgement System and to suspend the certification of that tester. Suspension could also be triggered for the following reasons:<\/p>

\u2022 Deliberately failing to submit all tests conducted
\u2022 Submitting information that is false or misrepresentative, such as incomplete
\u2022 Using a certificate or report that is not a SITMA Lodgement Certificate
\u2022 The test being conducted by an unregistered tester
\u2022 The tester not carrying out sufficient numbers of tests in accordance with the relevant Building Regulations.
\u2022 Failing to pay applicable fees (initial, annual, lodgement) within the designated time period (see \u2018PUS002 \u2013 SITMA Scheme Fee Schedule<\/a>\u2019 for more information).
\u2022 Any other reason that causes deliberate confusion, misrepresentation or puts the integrity of the scheme at risk.<\/p>
