Description
ATTMA is pleased to be teaming up with The Building Performance Hub to offer both UKAS and non-UKAS accredited companies the opportunity to carry out anonymised inter-laboratory testing.
What is inter-laboratory testing?
Inter-laboratory testing is the process of each company conducting a test on the same building but using their own equipment and technique. Inter-Laboratory testing is a mandatory requirement for companies that hold ISO 17025 accreditation from UKAS, but can also be attended by anyone looking to be part of the study.
Setup Requirements
The Building Performance Hub House has a surface area of around 230m2. This is achievable with a single fan (as small as the TEC Minifan) or 2 x Pulse tanks.
Setup, testing and take down must take no longer than 45 mins to avoid holding up other testers.
Testers should use a cloth frame to install into the doorway.
Report
A final report will be created independently by ATTMA. The report will be issued to companies that take part only. The report will be issued by email with the Company letter identified as to which their data is for comparison. For example, the report will show Company A, Company B, Company C etc and you will be informed which company you are.
Fee
To join the 2024 Inter-Laboratory testing, The Building Performance Hub will charge a nominal fee of £100+VAT per tester/company to conduct the assessment. Note that this cannot be charged through your ATTMA account and must be paid directly to The Building Performance Hub
If demand exceeds expectation, we will open up more dates. Contact Chris Milsom for further information.
