Description

ATTMA is pleased to be teaming up with The Building Performance Hub to offer both UKAS and non-UKAS accredited companies the opportunity to carry out anonymised inter-laboratory testing.

What is inter-laboratory testing?
Inter-laboratory testing is the process of each company conducting the same test to ensure companies all achieve and report the same results. This is a requirement for companies that are UKAS accredited, but can also be attended by Level 2 testers if they wanted to be part of the study.

Setup Requirements
The Building Performance Hub has a surface area of around 1500m2. While this may be achievable with a single fan, companies will be required to use multiple fans and restrict them as necessary.
Setup, testing and take down must take no longer than 2 hours to avoid holding up other testers.
Testers may use either a hard door frame, or a cloth frame to install into the doorway.

Report
A report will be created independently by ATTMA which will be anonymous. no data will be shared between companies. The final report will be issued to companies that took part only. The report will be issued with the data line highlighted as to which their data is for comparison.

Fee
To book out the facility and produce the report, The Building Performance Hub will charge a nominal fee of £200 per tester/company to conduct the assessment. Note that this cannot be charged through your ATTMA account and must be paid directly to The Building Performance Hub

If demand exceeds expectation, we will open up more dates. Contact Chris Milsom for further information.
