Certification not only strengthens your credibility but sets you apart by showcasing that you’ve met the highest standards in air source heat pump installation.
Completion and certification can only be offered on completion of the practical and theory assessments. There is no guaranteed pass for this training course.
Air Source Heat Pump Training Course Details:
This three-day course includes hands-on training, assessment, and all certification fees. All course materials are included, ensuring you have everything you need from start to finish.
Throughout the Air Source Heat Pump Installation Course, you will gain the skills to specify, survey, design, and install heat pump systems up to 16kW for domestic and small commercial properties. With a focus on practical application and industry standards, the course covers essential areas, including:
- The heat pump market overview
- Regulatory standards and guidelines for heat pumps
- Core principles of air source heat pump operation
- Types of heat pumps and appropriate system matching
- Requirements and considerations for pre-installation
- Materials and installation methods
- System commissioning and activation
- Servicing, maintenance, and fault detection
Pre – Requisites
This course has the following pre-requisite:
- WRAS Water Regulations
If you do not already hold the above qualification, or need to renew it, you must enrol on this course in addition to your Air Source Heat Pump course. You can book your WRAS Water Regulations here.
This way, you will leave fully qualified and able to install and maintain Air Source Heat Pumps and apply for MCS Certification.
You will also need to provide any Plumbing, Heating/Ventilation, Gas or Oil certificates you currently hold.
