SITMA Certification Certificates

Effective from 16th April 2025, SITMA will begin issuing physical certification certificates to testers following the successful completion of their surveillance audits. This initiative marks a significant step in formally recognising testers who are in good standing with SITMA and who have demonstrated ongoing compliance with industry standards.

To be eligible to receive the physical certificate, the tester must have fully completed their surveillance audit, with all identified non-compliances resolved and signed off. This ensures that the certification reflects the tester’s current commitment to quality, professionalism, and adherence to best practices within the sector.

The physical certificate shows the tester’s continued competence and credibility under the SITMA scheme. It can be displayed to clients, employers, and other stakeholders as evidence of their up-to-date certification status.

This update reinforces SITMA’s commitment to raising standards across the industry while providing additional value to certified testers through enhanced recognition and trust.
