Launched in 2018, The Sound Insulation Testing and Measurement Association (SITMA) has grown from a handful of members and now is the largest voluntary testers scheme in the UK with over 140,000 tests lodged from 33,000 unique sites. SITMA prides itself on being a non-for-profit organisation with all lodgement and member fees being invested in making a better industry for all.

SITMA Theory Exam

For those who haven't completed training

  • Theory Exams can be taken online or in-person

The SITMA Theory Exam is an 90 minute open book exam with access to the relevant BS EN ISO standards. More information can be found under the entry routes section of the website.
