SITMA itself neither provides training nor endorses or authorises any training course for access to the Sound Insulation Testing & Measurement Association’s Certification Scheme for Sound Insulation Testers.
Those wishing to undertake additional training can do so using industry provided training courses which can be readily found across the country.
Minimum Competency Requirements
Training courses that are provided should meet the minimum requirements of PUS009 – Competency Requirements. The content of PUS009 is available upon request to admin@bcta.group.
PUS009 sets out the information that is required for each applicant and certified person to know and understand as part of their requirements for the Sound Insulation Testing & Measurement Association’s Certification Scheme for Sound Insulation Testers.
