Sketchup Guide for Air Tightness Testers

The Building Compliance Testers Association, which owns both ATTMA & SITMA, is pleased to publish Technical Information Document TIL004 – Sketchup Guide for Air Tightness Testers.

This document should be used as a guidance document in the use of SketchUp for the calculation of building envelope areas and volumes for use in air tightness testing.

SketchUp is a 3D modelling computer program for a wide range of drawing applications such as architectural, interior design, landscape architecture, civil and mechanical engineering, film and video game design. It is available as a freeware version, “Make”, and a paid version with additional functionality, “Pro”.

This guide is written specifically for use with SketchUp Make 2017 but for older computers or those with a lower specification SketchUp Make 2016 may run quicker.
