The Building Compliance Testers Association (BCTA) are excited to announce Phil Kershaw as the newest member of our team, operating in the north of the UK. Phil brings a unique blend of experience, having served in the military before transitioning to a specialized role in the building services sector.
After his service, Phil quickly distinguished himself in the field of air tightness and sound insulation testing. His expertise has been instrumental in ensuring buildings meet critical environmental and soundproofing standards, which has been crucial for enhancing energy efficiency and living conditions.
Some of you will have already spoken to Phil as he has been phoning those who have yet met the stability and directivity requirements and some have even met Phil as he has been shadowing Lee Thompson on some audits.
