The Air Tightness Testing & Measurement Association (ATTMA) has announced an update to its lodgement fee structure, which will come into effect from 1st October 2025. The changes are as follows:
Dwelling Lodgement Fee: £2.05 + VAT
Non-Dwelling Lodgement Fee: £15 + VAT
From January 2027, lodgement fees will be subject to an increase of CPI.
This decision has not been made lightly, but despite the nominal increase in March, it is necessary to ensure we can continue the development of additional testing services and maintaining ATTMA’s high standards, tools, and support our members expect.
“We understand that increasing prices is never easy,” said David McKenna | BCTA, General Manager of ATTMA. “This decision has not been made lightly, but despite the nominal increase in March, it is necessary to ensure we can continue the development of additional testing services and maintaining ATTMA’s high standards, tools, and support our members expect.”
Since launching the lodgement scheme in 2015, and now approaching 10 years of lodgement, ATTMA has worked hard to maintain a consistent fee, even as inflation and operational costs have risen. Members have effectively reduced their costs in real terms over the past decade.
ATTMA Member Benefits
As a not-for-profit business, this increase will also assist in maintaining our current services which includes:
- Technical support is provided by the dedicated ATTMA team, employed directly by the Scheme, offering impartial guidance to all members — from standard dwellings to complex compartmentalised buildings.

- 5 different ways to lodge via our portal, with automatic lodgement with Tectite, FanTestic and the ATTMA App.

- ATTMA provides live verification via our members list on our website, meaning you can direct your clients to prove you’re a current ATTMA member meaning immediate proof when you’re on site.
- Pay-Per-Click Insurance – For those who test less frequently, we can provide you with professional indemnity and public liability insurance per test at a small fee, saving you money in the long run.
Continued Development
As part of our continued investment in the scheme, we are actively expanding the support available to members through several key initiatives. This includes the ongoing development of targeted training programmes aimed at helping you broaden your testing services portfolio and stay ahead in a competitive market. We’ve also introduced an enhanced audit process, specifically designed to streamline workflows and reduce the time burden on members. Our sustained investment in the ATTMA App is already delivering measurable results, with a 50% reduction in audit non-compliances reported to date.
This announcement has already been communicated via email, where members will be able to contact the team if they wish to discuss.
