ATTMA gains TrustMark Scheme Provider Approval

TrustMark, the UK’s only Government-Endorsed Quality Scheme for work carried out in and around the home, has approved The Air Tightness Testing & Measurement Association (ATTMA) as its newest Scheme Provider. ATTMA has now achieved TrustMark Scheme Provider status following a thorough assessment of all its processes for vetting and inspecting members, as well as its customer service policies, compliance audits, quality management and complaint handling procedures.

As the only licensed TrustMark Scheme Provider for the airtightness testing trade, ATTMA has committed to meeting and maintaining the operating requirements set out by the quality scheme. This means its members who comply with the required standards of technical competence, trading practices, and customer service can become TrustMark Registered Businesses.

How Does TrustMark Help ATTMA Members?

As a TrustMark Registered Business, ATTMA-registered testers can demonstrate their commitment to quality, professionalism and high standards, while consumers have the assurance that they are engaging quality operatives.

David McKenna, General Manager commented: “Our partnership with TrustMark represents a crucial development for retrofit standards across the UK. By aligning our expertise, we are proactively addressing the performance gap that often undermines energy efficiency objectives in retrofit projects, ensuring only trained and certified testers are used, playing a pivotal role in improving building performance outcomes and consumer confidence.”

Simon Ayers MBE, CEO of TrustMark added: “We are delighted to welcome ATTMA as a TrustMark Scheme Provider with a focus on enhancing the quality and sustainability of retrofit buildings, while contributing significantly to the UK’s environmental objectives and improving consumer trust in retrofit projects across the UK. As well as demonstrating commitment to customer service, high standards and continual improvement, all ATTMA members who are TrustMark registered will now be able to give their customers the assurance and confidence that they are choosing the right tester to do the work on their property and have the appropriate financial protections in place.”
