The Air Tightness Testing and Measurement Association has recently updated the ATTMA registration process to make it more streamlined and easier to navigate for both companies and testers. The new process is now split into two distinct stages, each tailored to the specific needs of the applicant.
Stage One: Company ATTMA Registration
This stage is designed for companies that are new to ATTMA and wish to register for the ATTMA Certification Scheme. It involves submitting company details and meeting the necessary criteria to become an ATTMA-recognised organisation.
Important! If your company is already registered with ATTMA, new testers do not need to complete Stage One again when applying for ATTMA.
Stage Two: Tester ATTMA Registration
This stage is for all testers to complete their application. It focuses on validating the testers’ qualifications, experience, and compliance with ATTMA Standards. Companies that are already part of ATTMA can direct their new employees to complete Stage Two without repeating the company registration process.
Update to Amending Tester Qualifications
ATTMA has also updated it’s Tester Status Amendment Form to make it easier for already registered tester to update their qualifications within the Scheme. The revised form is specifically designed for individual testers who are already registered with ATTMA and wish to update their registration with new qualifications they have gained.
Updated Links
Another important update is we have updated the links that held these forms – so those favourited URL’s you’ve been using since 2020, you can go and revise them! You can access these new registration forms under the certification tab at the top of the page.
These links are as follows:
Company Registration
Tester Registration
Update to Amend Tester Qualification
Note: These changes are only for our UK, Europe and Middle East Clients, the Australia and New Zealand application form has now changed, and still accessible via the same link.
Summary
Whilst the forms have been given a refreshed layout, the content and requirements remain unchanged from the previous version. We’re still collecting the same information, just in a clearer more user-friendly format. If you’d like to talk to the team, you can contact us on 01494 358 159 or admin@bcta.group
