To go down this route, you must provide evidence of an education which includes air tightness testing and will need to follow the process as per the APEL route.

The candidate must attend an ATTMA authorised training course and complete the assessment in order to be enrolled into ATTMA.
The course typically lasts 4 to 5 days with the assessment to taking place on the final day.
The candidate must provide evidence by way of existing test reports, completion of the relevant
alternative training template which will demonstrate you have met the requirements of the National Occupational Standards.
You must also attend a combined interview and witness test to prove your competence.
You may be expected to submit further test reports or have sanctions added depending on the outcome of the assessment
