To become full accredited as an ATTMA Level 1 tester through a course in Australia or New Zealand, your must complete the following steps in any order.
Pass the knowledge and theory exam
Apply to ATTMA ANZ and submit required documentation
Submit Completed Blower Door Tests and Calculation of 3 different buildings
Conduct a live supervised tester of a single-zone building using a common blower door from TEC or Retrotec
Blower door tests must be done on buildings not previously submitted to ATTMA Lodgement, including one done by on-site envelope calculations. Tests must be filed with ATTMA Lodgement.
Steps 1-3 may be undertaken remotely and if completed successfuly will result in listing as an ATTMA Level 1 tester with ‘provisional’ status. The last step may be performed on the Exam Day at the training venue, or through separate arrangement. Successful completion of all four steps will result in listing as a ‘current’ ATTMA Level 1 tester.

The order of the steps may be changed to suit an individuals specific needs and schedule, however they must all be complted to achieve “current” status on the ATTMA Member Listings.
