ATTMA Air Tightness Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct applies specifically to ATTMA personnel, separate agreements are in place for the ATTMA Board of Directors, Governing Committee,
and Technical Committee whose confidentiality undertaking is included as part of ‘QMA031 – Board of Directors (BoD)Terms of Reference’, ‘QMA003-1 – ATTMA
Governing Committee Terms of Reference’, and ‘QMA037 – Techcomm Terms of Reference’ respectively.
For any outsourced support services (accountants) are contracted for the duration and scope of their work which includes confidentiality requirements. 
Note: A signed copy of this document will be retained by ATTMA.
This document also serves to reinforce ATTMA’s commitment to fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous professional development among its personnel, ensuring that all actions taken are in the best interests of maintaining the integrity and impartiality of the certification process.

Confidentiality and Code of Conduct

I will, to the best of my ability, make all reasonable and practicable efforts to comply with and always uphold the requirements of confidentiality, impartiality, administrative and operational procedures, technical standards, and ethical operation in all aspects of my role within ATTMA.
Furthermore, I:
a) will not divulge any information marked as Confidential; all documents issued will be marked with the level of confidentiality.
b) will ensure information amassed as part of my duties, such as, but not limited
to, information and documentation (in all its formats and media) associated with my duties will be:
I. stored safely
II. maintained accurately
III. kept secure and confidential all times
IV. returned on demand
c) will disclose to SITMA, before starting work on any certification activity:
I. any conflict of interest including past or present involvement with people and/or organisations related or connected to the work
II. any other relationship that could jeopardise the confidentiality or impartiality of any certification process or work, whether in the past or the present
d) won’t accept any incentive, gift, commission, concession or any other inducement from any organisation or representative thereof that may be considered to have the expectation of influencing any certification decision. Any attempt at such influence will be reported to the Governing Committee.
e) will cooperate fully in any formal enquiry procedure following the breach, or suspected breach, of this Code of Conduct.
f) Won’t share information externally, internally or in any way that may cause harm to the reputation of ATTMA or its employees, perceived or otherwise.
g) Shall adhere to all operational directives and regulations as defined within ATTMA’s Quality Management System, and the associated standards, NOS, MTC’s, and COA’s as they pertain to each individual’s role within the organisation.
h) Commit to declaring any personal or professional relationships that may have the potential to compromise the objectivity of certification decisions. Any attempt to influence through such relationships will also be reported immediately to the Governing Committee
